Clinical Instructor of Medicine (Fellow) Division of Transplant Nephrology

The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is the largest private employer in Los Angeles. As an employee, you will be part of a world-class research university and the 'Trojan Family,' comprising faculty, students, and staff.

USC's Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, offers a one-year AST-accredited fellowship in Transplant Nephrology. This program is designed to provide Nephrology graduates with comprehensive experience in kidney transplantation, preparing them for roles as Transplant Nephrologists, program directors, clinicians, and medical educators.

The fellowship includes training in medical education, patient safety, quality improvement, and utilization management. Clinical rotations are conducted at the Keck Medical Center (KMC) of USC, a private 411-bed hospital with full UNOS accreditation for multi-organ transplantation, including kidney, liver, pancreas, heart, and lung transplants.

Salary and Application Details

The annual base salary for this position is $96,118.29. USC considers various factors when extending employment offers, including responsibilities, experience, education, skills, internal equity, legal and contractual considerations, grant funding, and market conditions.
