Job summary

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice professional nursing in Wisconsin.
• Earned Master of Science in Nursing degree.
• Minimum two years of experience as a staff nurse.
• Current knowledge of clinical practice within the teaching area.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Attend clinical coordination meetings as scheduled.
• Develop or revise course syllabi and lesson plans.
• Evaluate materials for the clinical course.
• Use program grading policies for evaluating students.
• Keep student performance records updated in the Canvas LMS.
• Orient and supervise students in the clinical setting.
• Plan and evaluate clinical assignments and student prep.
• Provide timely feedback and conduct mid/end-of-rotation conferences.
• Collaborate with clinical facility staff and course coordinator.
• Update curriculum vitae annually.
