Western Carolina University is seeking a Clinical Instructor for the School of Nursing to provide instruction in their Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthesia program. This role involves classroom teaching, simulation facilitation, and evaluating students.
The ideal candidate will be a CRNA with a Master's degree, experienced in nurse anesthesia practice and education. Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety are essential for this position. Salary is $12,000 per semester and is paid bi-weekly.
This position provides didactic, clinical, and simulation-based instruction to nurse anesthesia students within an accredited Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthesia program.
Responsibilities include classroom teaching, facilitation of simulation experiences, student evaluation, and participation in course coordination activities as assigned. The instructor collaborates with program faculty to support student learning, clinical reasoning development, and preparation for safe anesthesia practice.
Salary: $12,000 per semester. Temporary employees are paid bi‑weekly on an hourly basis and do not receive benefits.
