Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking a Clinical Instructor to lead the education and supervision of nursing students within our Georgia hospitals. You will guide student care from birth through the lifecycle, ensuring adherence to nursing processes and high standards of practice.

You will collaborate with schools of nursing to provide a consistent student experience, deliver content from Clinical Learning & Development, and promote evidence-based approaches to improve care quality.

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia required or multi-state licensure accepted
• Experience with nursing students and clinical instruction preferred
• Strong foundation in evidence-based practice and patient care

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical instruction, supervision and evaluation of nursing students engaged in direct patient care.
• Collaborate with schools of nursing to ensure a consistent student experience across Piedmont entities.

Responsibilities

This position provides direct clinical instruction, supervision and evaluation of nursing students engaged in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients from birth through the lifecycle. Clinical Instructors will collaborate and strengthen relationships with schools of nursing to assure a consistent student experience. Student teaching may occur at various Piedmont entities and schools of nursing. Clinical Instructors will also deliver educational content as directed from Clinical Learning & Development. Serves as a change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of evidence-based research.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing Required
• Master’s degree in Nursing Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years of nursing experience in an inpatient hospital role Required
• Previous clinical instruction Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
