UVA Health is seeking a Nurse Informaticist Specialist to design, optimize, and maintain clinical information systems across the health system. You will collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and IT to align technology with patient care goals and safety initiatives.

The role requires a nursing license in Virginia, a Bachelor's in nursing, and 7 years of relevant experience, with a Master's in informatics preferred. This is a full-time position with on-site duties and travel as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Master's degree in informatics preferred.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Virginia; related certification preferred.
• 7 years of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, optimize, and maintain clinical information systems within the Health System.
• Engage with subject matter experts and end users to implement HIT best practices.
• Analyze workflows and data to drive quality and safety improvements.
• Educate clinicians and patients on informatics issues and use of EHR.
