Job summary

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to bridge clinical staff and MIS analysts, optimizing workflows and EMR use to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities include system evaluation, workflow standardization, testing, audits, and downtime procedures.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses and leadership to design, implement and train users on new tools, monitor adoption, and stay current with healthcare informatics

Qualifications

• 5 years of clinical experience.
• Experience bridging clinical staff with IT/MIS teams.

How You\'ll Contribute
The Clinical Informatics Specialist serves as a liaison between clinical staff and MIS analysts, leveraging technology to optimize clinical workflows and improve patient outcomes. This role supports system evaluation, workflow standardization, and enhancement of electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical decision support tools. The Clinical Informatics Specialist also collaborates with physicians, nurses, and leadership to design, implement, and improve systems, provide user training, and ensure effective adoption. Responsibilities include system testing, troubleshooting, audits, and maintaining downtime procedures. The role also involves analyzing current and future workflows, supporting implementation efforts, and keeping current on healthcare informatics trends and regulatory standards.

Required Skills
Qualified candidates must have a 5 years of clinical experience.

Strong Communication, Project Management, And Training Skills Are Essential.
