The Clinical Improvement Program Specialist is accountable to advance the execution of organizational clinical strategic improvement through providing project leadership and closely partners with the Clinical Improvement Designer. Applies diverse knowledge of project management expertise, process improvement principles, and familiarity with the health care operations environment to effectively drive work across the Plan, Execute, and Sustain phases of a clinical improvement project. Utilizes project management best practices through ownership of project documentation, daily collaboration with project team members/operational leaders/key stakeholders, and management and facilitation of meetings.
Functions as an advocate, change agent while serving as a positive role model for encouraging others to embrace operational changes and transformation. Develops and fosters strong relationships with critical stakeholders including project team members, executive sponsors, and operational stakeholders. Provides clear and comprehensive communication of OnPoint Clinical Improvement and Transformation strategy.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software, specifically excel, EMRs and business intelligence tools (eg. Qlik, Tableau, Power BI) are essential for this position along with outstanding organizational and communication skills and an overall commitment to best practices and procedures.
