As a Clinical Implementation Specialist (CIS), you will play a critical role in helping healthcare providers adopt and integrate Beckman Coulter’s Host Response to Infection (HRI) portfolio—including Monocyte Distribution Width (MDW) and MeMed BV (bacterial vs. viral) tests—into clinical practice. You’ll provide end-to-end support, from emergency department training and workflow integration to developing strategies that assess patient impact and improve outcomes.

In this role, you will engage deeply with emergency department teams and clinical committees, often working with multiple clients simultaneously. Your focus will be on building the capabilities and processes needed to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of our HRI solutions. You’ll be instrumental in embedding these tools into standard care pathways for detecting severe infections and differentiating between bacterial and viral causes.

To support continuous improvement and alignment with our quality standards, you’ll document customer interactions weekly using established tools and DBS principles.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• The CIS will work directly with ED doctors, nurses, administrators, and education coordinators to implement a robust education, support, and sustainment plan in the department
• The CIS will work closely with clinical committees to ensure there is organizational alignment around how MDW and/or MeMed BV will be implemented and utilized in support of clinical committee objectives. Committees include; Quality of care, Hospital support services, Risk management , EPIC Design Committee, Patient Safety, Infection Control, Pharmaco-therapeutics and others
• Collaborate with cross functional internal stakeholders including the sales, service, marketing, and med-sci teams.
• The CIS will fulfill their mission to improve patient care through the implementation of MDW and MeMed BV while always presenting a positive/professional image reflective of Beckman Coulter and Danaher.
  
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of hospital-based nursing experience and experience that includes some of the following: emergency medicine, infection detection/control, sepsis management, decision support, utilization management, case management, patient workflow
• Proven experience leading cross-functional or department-wide change initiatives within a health system or hospital, including training teams to adopt new processes and procedures.
• Competence in laws, regulations, and hospital guidelines pertaining to emergency care of patients with suspected infection/sepsis
• Experience with digital systems used in hospital emergency departments including EMR, Middleware, and Healthcare IT Systems
• Travel: Up to 75% including overnight travel
  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience integrating and aligning ED initiatives to support committee led objectives Superior problem solving and analytical skills
• Project management skills to follow a comprehensive and repeatable process Hands-on experience leading hospital clinical and IT stakeholder meetings Demonstrated experience and a passion for coaching or mentoring clients Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively to multiple stakeholders from hospital staff to executive-level
• Previous experience with change management tools, systems and processes to implement and sustain change.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
