Job summary

GRX Holdings, LLC is seeking a Clinical Immunization and Float Pharmacist to join our Des Moines metro team. The role focuses on executing community immunization programs, supporting pharmacies, and working at employer and public vaccination clinics during peak seasons.

The hybrid position combines direct patient care, outreach, and operational support, with travel throughout the Des Moines area. Requirements include a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Iowa license, CPR and immunization certification,

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
• Active Iowa Pharmacist License; other state licensure preferred or able to obtain.
• Current CPR Certification and Immunization Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout the Des Moines metro.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the organization's dedicated pharmacist for community and employer vaccination clinics.
• Lead onsite employer vaccination events during the fall respiratory season.
• Conduct spring catch-up vaccination clinics focused on routine adult immunizations.
• Travel to employer, community, long-term care, and public vaccination locations.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and vaccine handling requirements.
• Document vaccine administration in management systems and registries.
• Manage vaccine inventory and cold-chain for mobile clinics.
• Educate patients on vaccine recommendations and preventive care.
• Represent the organization professionally at outreach events.
• Support development of employer partnerships and community immunization opportunities.
• Participate in planning seasonal vaccine initiatives.
• Float between locations to provide coverage as needed.
• Verify prescriptions and counsel patients on medications.
