Job summary

DeepSight Technology Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a full-time Clinical Imaging R&D Specialist. You will help clinician end-users optimize workflows and learn the technology while contributing to validation and research efforts.

The role requires ARDMS certification (abdomen or equivalent), 5+ years ultrasound experience, and hands-on R&D ultrasound image optimization experience. Relocation to St. Louis is noted but the position is Seattle-based, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

  • ARDMS (or equivalent) certification in abdomen OR two additional active general imaging or vascular credentials
  • 5+ years of related experience operating ultrasound equipment in a clinical or medical setting
  • 2+ years of direct experience in R&D ultrasound image optimization and system development for general imaging applications (abdominal, small parts, vascular, pediatrics, etc.)
  • Clinical ultrasound teaching experience
  • Commercial ultrasound system installation experience
  • Proficient English communication skills
  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the St. Louis area

Responsibilities

  • Create connections with clinician application leaders (traveling when needed) to learn workflows, identify requirements and ensure products meet needs
  • Identify clinician workflows and visualization goals for targeted applications and define requirements
  • Perform clinical research for design requirements and present data
  • Coordinate with product and realization teams to ensure safety and effectiveness
  • Prepare detailed documents, plans, studies and research reports
  • Educate users on our technology, best practices, and efficient workflows for adoption
