Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Clinical Hygienist to administer and coordinate the university’s workers’ compensation and clinical safety programs. You will liaison with the State’s TPA and maintain OSHA logs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and university requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Four year degree in a related science or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Additional certifications/licenses may be required for specific positions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the Workers’ Compensation program.
• Serve as liaison to the State’s Third-Party Administrator (TPA) for workers’ compensation.
• Maintain OSHA 300 log to ensure compliance with federal/state regulations.
• Assist with ergonomics program and update tools as necessary.

Skills

Regulatory knowledge (OSHA/NCOSHA/JCAH
