Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join its hospital pharmacy team. You will review, compound, dispense and monitor medication therapy across pediatric to geriatric patients, ensuring safe dosing and optimal therapy.

The role supervises pharmacy technicians, participates in clinical activities, and supports competency development while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
• No experience required; hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Georgia Pharmacist license (PharmD) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of distribution, documentation and compounding related to drugs, solutions and equipment to meet the needs of patients and staff. Responsibilities include reviewing, compounding, dispensing and monitoring medication therapy across age groups and supervising pharmacy technicians.
