The University of Maryland School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Classical Hematology in Baltimore. The role emphasizes outstanding clinical care with translational and/or clinical research and development of a distinctive clinical and scholarly focus.

Applicants must have an MD or MD/PhD, be board-certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology (or eligible), and obtain Maryland medical licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD degree required.
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine and in Hematology or eligible.
• Eligible for Maryland medical license.

Responsibilities

• Attend Hematology consultation service on-site.
• Provide outpatient consultation and longitudinal care.
• Develop an area of clinical expertise within classical hematology.
• Educate and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students; lead or participate in research.
