J.S. Held LLC is seeking a part-time Clinical Health Scientist to join our EH&S team. The role blends clinical experience with scientific analysis to support complex client questions in pharmaceuticals, drugs of abuse, infectious diseases, and environmental/occupational exposures.

The position is remote, part-time, and contract-based, offering flexible hours and exposure to diverse legal and insurance client projects. Candidates must hold RN or PA licensure and have clinical hospital experience.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to and, where appropriate, lead scientific reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
• Manage multiple priorities with strong analytical and time-management skills.
• Communicate complex medical information clearly in writing and speech.

Job Description

This is a part-time, as-needed hourly. This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Clinical Health Scientist to join our Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) team. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial and highly motivated professional who combines hands-on clinical experience with strong scientific, analytical, and consulting skills.

Working alongside physician consultants and senior project managers, you will apply your clinical and scientific knowledge to complex questions involving human health. Our experts advise a diverse client base, including legal and insurance firms, on matters involving pharmaceuticals, drugs of abuse, infectious diseases, and environmental and occupational exposures.

This early to mid-career level clinical health scientist performs professional medical-related consulting services for a wide range of clients, including legal and insurance firms. The work requires a professional knowledge of medical and scientific principles and methods applied in a clinical setting. We are seeking a candidate with a Registered Nurse or Physician's Assistant license. A minimum of 3 years clinical experience in a clinic or hospital is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Support projects under the guidance of a Physician Consultant and a Senior Project Manager

• Contribute to, and where appropriate,lead the preparation of scientific reports, presentations, and manuscript

• Communicate complex medical and scientific information clearly through excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $85 per hour. The base salary offered will vary depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, training, location, and the scope of the role.
