The Cerebrovascular Center within the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic is recruiting a Clinical Health Psychologist to provide cognitive-behavioral treatments and brief psychotherapy to patients with cerebrovascular disorders, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team of vascular neurologists, neurosurgeons, interventional neurologists, neuroradiologists, advanced practice providers, and other medical professionals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cognitive-behavioral interventions and other integrative health psychology modalities, with experience treating mood, anxiety, adjustment, and neurobehavioral disorders. Experience with patients with co-morbid disabilities and neurological conditions is preferred.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited psychology program, completed an internship with clinical health psychology or trauma focus, and a post-doctoral fellowship in these areas.
