Clinical Health Psychologist

Cleveland, OH

The Cerebrovascular Center within the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic is recruiting a Clinical Health Psychologist to provide cognitive-behavioral treatments and brief psychotherapy to patients with cerebrovascular disorders, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. The role offers opportunities to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of vascular neurologists, neurosurgeons, interventional neurologists, neuroradiologists, and other healthcare providers in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in cognitive-behavioral interventions and other health psychology modalities, with experience treating mood, anxiety, adjustment, and neurobehavioral disorders. Experience with patients having co-morbid disabilities and neurological conditions is preferred.

Applicants must have:

1. A doctoral degree from an APA-accredited psychology program.
2. Completed an internship with clinical health psychology or trauma focus.
3. A post-doctoral fellowship in relevant areas.
4. Licensure eligibility in Ohio.
