Job summary

AMFM Healthcare is seeking Clinical Group Facilitators to lead therapeutic group sessions at our Northern Virginia residential facilities. In this role you will guide clients through evidence-based practices, helping them develop the skills necessary for long-term stability and recovery.

Ideal candidates will have CBT/DBT experience and a background in mental health modalities. Education includes a Bachelor’s in a clinically related field; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a clinically related field required; Master's preferred.
Registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling or Virginia Department of Health Professions required.

Responsibilities

Facilitate group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
Work with acute clients with mood disorders, substance use, and suicidal ideation.
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and Virginia Licensing Standards.
Create individualized care plans with measurable objectives.
Document client progress and discharge plans; maintain records.
Assist in crisis intervention and be a contact for families.
