Job summary

The Department of Pathology at Michigan Medicine, University of Michigan, seeks a qualified candidate for a clinical assistant/associate/professor position. Responsibilities include clinical service in DGG Molecular and Pathology Informatics, teaching pathology residents and fellows, and research activities.

On-call duties are shared and depend on staffing. Active involvement in teaching and research is expected.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or PhD with board certification or eligibility in CMGG or LGG (ABMGG).
• Experience with next generation sequencing (NGS) is required.
• At least 5 years' experience in whole exome and/or whole genome sequencing desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical service in the Division of Diagnostic Genetics and Genomics Laboratories.
• Engage in teaching and research activities related to DGG Molecular and Pathology Informatics.
• On-call duties are shared and may vary with staffing.
