Job summary

A.T. Still University Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) seeks a full-time Clinical General Dentistry Faculty to supervise students in the Comprehensive Care Unit and deliver patient care at the St.

Louis Dental Center with leadership oversight from the Vice Dean of Clinical Affairs. The role requires a DDS/DMD, substantial teaching and private practice experience, and a strong ability to work independently within a team, promoting comprehensive care and professional

Qualifications

• D.D.S./D.M.D. degree required.
• Minimum five years of experience in a dental teaching environment.
• Minimum five years of experience in private dental practice.
• Knowledge of dental practice operations.
• Highly skilled in general dentistry.
• Adaptable, motivated, and able to work independently.
• Team oriented and personable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise MOSDOH students in the Comprehensive Care Unit to provide care.
• Maintain standards of care and continuity of care for all patients.
• Participate in clinic quality assurance and improvement measures.
• Work on the clinic floor 4-5 days per week.
• Assist staff and adjunct faculty training and clinic calibration.
• Coordinate staffing, leave, and floor coverage with leadership.
• Complete administrative reports and required trainings.
• Track student progress and report deficiencies to leadership.
• Ensure safety and effective communication among patients and staff.
• Perform dental procedures as needed and serve on committees.
