Responsibilities

• Assesses the needs of residents with speech or language disorders and matches their needs with services available.
• Meets with residents regularly according to treatment program schedule; evaluates and maintains progress records.
• Reports progress to management and family members and discusses it regularly.
• Repeats evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.
• Keeps current with professional literature and attends seminars to maintain and update professional skills.
