The Speech Pathology Group & Rehab Services of CT currently has Clinical Fellowship (CF) Opportunities for Speech & Language Pathologists!

The Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT is a multidisciplinary team seeking dynamic, talented, and fun therapists to join our SPGCT family. The SPGCT therapy team is passionate about what we do both in the clinic and in the community to fulfill our mission of “creating a place where families receive high quality care, feel supported and are important.”

Our ideal CF candidates will have a passion for working with the pediatric population and enjoy the school settings and/or clinic setting. Experience in the field, excellent communication skills, and strong customer service skills are highly preferred. Candidates must be able to support children with speech and language delays, including articulation, fluency, and language disorders & more! Oral motor / Feeding experience are a PLUS for in-clinic opportunities!

The Speech Pathology Group & Rehab Services of CT offers two options for your CF placement: School-Based settings (up to 45 mins from your current home location) or a hybrid of both School-based settings and Clinic settings (Shelton/Southbury Clinics). (CF) Speech and Language Pathologist Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose client's communication; articulation, fluency, voice, language disorders.
  • Create and manage measurable goals/objectives for the client's intervention plan.
  • Work among other service providers on the multi-disciplinary clinic team.
  • Provide high-quality speech-language therapy service to clients.
  • Select and/or prepare speech-language instructional materials.
  • Provide carryover activities for client/families.
  • Keep current with professional literature and attend seminars on a regular basis to maintain and update professional skills. Be a lifelong learner.
  • Write and maintain confidential client case notes and reports, as well as information for clients and other professionals.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Location: Clinics: Shelton & Southbury, CT. For Schools: Offerings in school settings all across the state of Connecticut.
