Job summary

New York University’s College of Dentistry seeks three full-time, five-day clinical faculty members to teach in general dentistry and comprehensive care. Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience in general dentistry.

• Knowledge of dental materials and their application.

Responsibilities

• Instruct predoctoral dental students in preclinical simulation laboratory courses.
• Provide direct chairside instruction and evaluation of student performance.
• Assess student competency through practical examinations and skill evaluations.
• Mentor students in developing proper ergonomics, infection control, and clinical techniques.
• Participate in curriculum development and educational innovation initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculty colleagues in interdisciplinary education.
• Contribute to faculty meetings, committees, and institutional service.
• Other related duties as required.
