Job summary

New York University College of Dentistry seeks three full-time Clinical Track Faculty members to join the Department of General Dentistry and Comprehensive Care. Responsibilities include teaching in simulation labs and supervising students in clinical care, with a focus on comprehensive patient care in a modern group practice environment.

Qualified candidates will have a DDS/DMD, 2+ years of general dentistry, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice in general dentistry.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in dental terminology and clinical documentation.
• Understanding of infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of dental materials and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Instruct predoctoral students in preclinical simulation laboratory courses.
• Provide direct chairside instruction and evaluation of student performance.
• Assess student competency through practical examinations and skill evaluations.
• Mentor students in ergonomics, infection control, and clinical techniques.
• Participate in curriculum development and educational innovation initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculty in interdisciplinary education.
• Contribute to faculty meetings, committees, and institutional service.
• Other related duties as required.
