Orbis Education is seeking a Clinical Faculty Coordinator to expand nursing education by forging relationships with Mercer University ABSN program clinical partners in Greater Atlanta. The role supports academic programs while staying connected to the clinical environment, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including a full tuition plan.

The CFC will coordinate faculty orientation, monitor compliance, and mentor new adjunct faculty.

Qualificações

• Master of Science in Nursing is required.
• Unencumbered GA RN License is required.
• Two years combined teaching experience as a preceptor, adjunct clinical instructor, or classroom/lab.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, select, monitor, and evaluate all clinical adjunct faculty and clinical sites.
• Align clinical experiences with course and program outcomes/goals.
• Resolve clinical personnel issues between staff, faculty, and students.
• Coordinate orientation and training for clinical faculty.
• Mentor new adjunct faculty in clinical teaching activities.
• Verify student and faculty clinical compliance.
• Monitor clinical attendance and manage makeups.
• Possible teaching responsibilities in lab or clinical course.

Site Addresses: 3350 Riverwood Parkway SE, Atlanta GA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm with flexibility for clinical site visits

Retention Bonus: $5,000 paid at 6 months and 1 year of service

What You Will Do:

• Work alongside the Director to identify, select, monitor, and evaluate all clinical adjunct faculty and clinical sites.
• Work in conjunction with course faculty to establish alignment of clinical experiences with course and program outcomes/goals.
• Serve as thefirst point-of-contactfor resolution of clinical personnel issues that may arise between staff at the clinical site and clinical faculty and students.
• Coordinateorientation andtraining for clinical faculty regarding their clinical site and related nursing coursework.
• Act as a mentor to assist new adjunct faculty in clinical related teaching activities.
• Verify student and faculty clinical compliance.
• Monitor clinical attendance and manage clinical makeups.
• May have teaching responsibilities in lab or clinical course.

What You Will Have:

• Master of Science in Nursing
• Unencumbered GA RN License
