The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and certifications (BLS, ACLS as applicable) within stated timelines. Join a supportive team focused on patient care and program development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Recreational Therapy or Physical Education.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days for Clinical Exercise Specialist in Pulmonary/Cardiology departments.
• Demonstrates productive daily operations and safety during sessions.
• Provides instruction to clients and families through educational programs.
• Documents patient responses to treatment and updates the exercise plan as needed.
• Supports therapists/providers in treatment planning and completes other clinical duties.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a licensed clinician, deliver quality exercise and health education.
• Supervise and assist clients during daily exercise sessions, ensuring safety.
• Provide patient and family instruction through standardized programs.
• Document patient responses and adjust plans accordingly.
• Assist in developing and updating exercise programs to meet client needs.
• Support therapy teams with treatment planning and administration.
