Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Exercise Physiologist 2 to coordinate, plan, and direct preventative and rehabilitative health care for patients. You will assess patients, provide care, and educate families about care plans and home guidance.

The role involves developing exercise prescriptions, conducting tolerance testing, and collaborating with the care team to improve patient outcomes. Eligibility for benefits starts on day one and further education options are available.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• 1 year of Experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by observing and assessing the patient's condition and educating patients and families about care and treatment.
• Develops exercise prescriptions aligned with medical plans and patient goals.
• Performs exercise testing on diverse patient populations following approved procedures.
• Implements care plans by teaching prescribed exercises to patients.
• Communicates effectively with the care team and documents patient progress in records.
