Description:

Compensation: Pay Range: $43,890.00 - $71,320.00 / year. Responsibilities:

  • Provide multidisciplinary rehabilitative care to cardiac and pulmonary patients.
  • Assess patients’ exercise, educational, and behavioral needs.
  • Evaluate patient conditions, including strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance to reduce falls.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to establish rehabilitation goals and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Lead exercise prescription, progression, and modality design based on individual assessments.
  • Monitor program performance metrics to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Address the unique needs of patients from young adults to geriatrics.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Physical Education, or a related field (work experience cannot replace education).
  • Certification by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) as a Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP).
  • If maintaining an active CCRP, completion of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Certificate by AACVPR is encouraged but not required.
