UC San Diego Health seeks a Cardiopulmonary Exercise Physiologist to conduct inpatient and outpatient CPET for high-risk patients including advanced heart failure and adult congenital heart disease. You will perform treadmill stress tests, stress echocardiograms, ECGs and ambulatory monitors, contributing to research initiatives and sports screenings.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Exercise Science or related field, ACSM CEP within six months, BART or BLS at hire with commitment

Performs assigned duties independently under general supervision. Responsible for conducting inpatient and outpatient cardiopulmonary exercise stress testing on special patient populations including advanced heart failure and adult congenital heart disease. Performs treadmill stress tests and stress echocardiograms on high risk patients, such as hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathies and valvular pathologies to risk stratify for therapeutic/surgical interventions. Contributes to research initiatives and sports teams screenings. Applies ambulatory event monitors and performs electrocardiograms. Performs other duties as assigned
Annual Full Pay Range: $87,404 - $108,743 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $41.86 - $52.08
