Job summary

University of Utah Health on the Campus in Salt Lake City is seeking a part-time Clinical Exercise Assistant to assist patients with therapeutic exercise regimens, including aerobic conditioning, strength training, stretching, balance and ambulation. The position may include clerical duties such as entering exercise data into patient records.

Applicants with health-related studies or rehabilitation experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years).
• Students majoring in health-related fields or persons with experience in rehabilitation services and exercise training preferred.
• Current Life Support Card or completion of certification within one month of hire. Completion HIPAA certification during first week of employment.
