Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System seeks an experienced nurse educator to lead advanced clinical education activities across departments, facilities, and the community. You will identify learning needs, develop standards, and monitor policies to improve staff development.

Requires a BSN with Alabama license; MSN preferred. Four years of clinical experience in pediatrics or women’s health; current AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP within 3 months and instructor cert within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with Alabama licensure required.
• Master’s degree preferred or higher education in nursing recommended.
• Experience leading clinical education initiatives and staff development.
• Ability to develop and monitor standards, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced clinical educational activities addressing staff and community learning needs.
• Identify learning gaps and design programs to address them.
• Partner with departments, facilities and schools of nursing to promote collaborative practice.
