Job summary

University Health in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a compassionate Clinical Ethicist to join our Ethics Department. Under the direction of the Director of Ethics, the selected candidate will support the ethical practice of healthcare by serving as an Independent Living Donor Advocate (ILDA) and assisting with clinical ethics consultations across our system.

This role contributes to ethical integrity in care delivery and supports diverse patients and families making complex healthcare decisions

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Ethics or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Candidates with a strong clinical background (e.g., Social Work, Nursing) and documented experience in clinical ethics or as an ILDA are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated commitment to serving diverse populations and promoting health equity.
