Job summary

TRIMEDX is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to provide clinical equipment services under the close supervision of TRIMEDX management. You will validate and inspect clinical beds for completeness, safety, and proper operation, and perform planned maintenance, calibrations, and repairs.

You will uphold TRIMEDX core values while interacting with customers and colleagues, ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to regulatory compliance across service activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military experience preferred.
• 3 months experience working with clinical beds, stretchers, or biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on clinical beds and stretchers.
• Repair, install, and calibrate clinical beds and stretchers.
• Inform supervisors of repair status, inspections, and any customer concerns.
• Learn and maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Assist BMETs to perform and learn more complex repairs.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
