Job summary

Trimedx in Evansville, IN is seeking a Durable Medical Technician to service clinical beds and stretchers under supervision. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and safety verifications, ensuring equipment reliability for patient care.

You will repair and calibrate devices, document service history, and communicate with customers while upholding our core values. The role requires a high school diploma and tech experience; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military experience preferred.
• 3 months experience working with clinical beds, stretchers, or biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; travel may be required depending on primary site.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on clinical beds and stretchers.
• Repair, install, and calibrate clinical beds and stretchers.
• Inform supervisors of repair status, inspections, unusual equipment situations, and customer concerns.
• Learn biomedical terminology through ongoing training; assist BMETs with repairs and projects.
• Assist with special projects and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Maintain and verify accuracy of the equipment inventory database.
