Job summary

Keck Hospital of USC is seeking an Equipment Technician to support daily nursing operations by coordinating, cleaning, and moving medical equipment across patient care areas. The position requires 6–12 months of experience with medical equipment, along with strong organization, written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or related field preferred.
• Experience with medical equipment is desired.
• Fire Life Safety Training within LA City must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate infusion, feeding and SCD pumps per manufacturer guidelines (IFU).
• Track and locate equipment using databases.
• Keep department clean, restocked, and orderly during shift.
• Coordinate daily movement of equipment to support patient care needs.
