Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Clinical Engineering Supervisor at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, CA. You will lead a team of biomedical technicians, oversee maintenance and repair of medical equipment, and manage budgets and operations to support patient care.

The role requires an associate degree in electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology, 3+ years of BE equipment experience, and CBET preferred. You will train staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and participate in equipment

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in Biomedical Equipment field.
• CBET certification preferred; knowledge of anatomy/physiology related to clinical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Biomedical personnel and budgets.
• Provide technical training on equipment operation, repairs, calibration and safety.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in equipment evaluation and hazard reporting.
• Maintain inventory and records; participate in on-call rotation as needed.
