Job summary

Trimedx in Los Angeles seeks a seasoned biomedical equipment leader to guide hospitals’ clinical engineering teams, aligning staffing, priorities, and resources to ensure service excellence and readiness for inspections.

You will coach technicians, drive performance, and turn KPI data into actionable improvements, partnering with hospital leaders and vendors to deliver reliable medical equipment operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment (required).
• Leadership or team guidance experience (preferred).
• Associate degree or equivalent experience; technical/electronics focus preferred; bachelor’s a plus (advantage).
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies (TJC, CAP, DNV) and operational performance metrics.
• Technical certifications (A+, CBET, CRES, CLES, CCE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day: align staffing, priorities, and resources so service never slips.
• Lead a team that delivers: coach technicians, guide performance, and build accountability.
• Turn insight into action: use KPIs and data to fix inefficiencies and improve operations.
• Be the partner hospitals trust: solve problems, manage vendors, and ensure readiness for every inspection.
