Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Services Corp. seeks a Biomedical Engineering professional to support clinical engineering operations and medical device information system concepts across departments. You will help plan, design, implement, and support equipment integrations to enhance patient safety.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, healthcare experience, and strong communication and leadership skills; travel to YNHHS sites will be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or similar field.
  • Experience in medical equipment management, clinical information systems, or patient monitoring systems interfaces preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare project management, implementation, and operational support preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Technical and Analytical: basic knowledge of clinical systems architecture for medical device interoperability.
  • Communication: expresses ideas clearly, both orally and in writing.
  • Leadership: facilitates discussions with key stakeholders and recommends improvements.
  • Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
