Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health seeks a Biomedical/Clinical Engineering professional to help operate and manage medical device information systems and support the planning, design, and implementation of equipment integrations across YNHHS sites.

You will collaborate with clinicians and leadership to ensure patient safety, system reliability, and effective enterprise-wide device interoperability. On-call and site travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or similar field.
• Experience with medical equipment, clinical engineering operations, or patient monitoring systems interfaces.
• Understanding of project management and healthcare implementation.
• Experience gathering system requirements and documenting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Technical and Analytical knowledge of clinical systems architecture for device interoperability.
• Expresses ideas clearly and in a professional manner both orally and in writing.
• Ability to facilitate discussions with key stakeholders and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
