Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a Clinical Engineer (CLIN ENGR 3) to provide HTM engineering support across patient monitoring, operating room integration, CMMS, reporting, and installation coordination. You will collaborate with the Clinical Engineering team to advance HTM goals and improve workflows.

Requires a CA driver’s license, a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, CS, or EE, and 2+ years in healthcare or medical devices. Preferred PMP/CCE, Master’s, SQL, and cybersecurity knowledge.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver's license and driving record per local policy.
• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of experience in a healthcare facility, medical device field, or related business.
• Knowledge of medical device technologies, physiology, and clinical terminology.
• Demonstrated HTM expertise in technology management, service delivery, device testing, IT considerations, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical equipment planning, integration, and implementation.
• Provide general engineering support.
• Oversee CMMS tasks and reporting.
• Address IT cybersecurity considerations for medical devices.
