Job summary

Materialise Medical in Lafayette, LA is seeking a dedicated professional to support cranio-maxillofacial (CMF) surgical cases. You will conduct web meetings with surgeons, virtually plan procedures, and oversee design of surgical guides, implants, and models to transfer a virtual plan to the operating room.

The role involves training on proprietary software platforms, ongoing case processing, and exposure to quality and regulatory systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience supporting medical professionals preferred.
• Ability to establish rapport, guide customers, and set expectations.
• Excellent computer skills required.
• Highly motivated self-starter with excellent organizational ability.
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize tasks daily among projects of varying lead time and complexity.
• Build relationships with surgeons from various fields by providing a strong customer experience via web meetings, phone calls, emails, etc.
• Learn proprietary software platforms that support cases from start to finish, including image processing, data preparation, surgical planning, design, and production.
• Travel to customer sites and trade shows to promote and support our products; attend procedures in the OR to gain firsthand experience.
