Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Oklahoma Heart Institute Clinical Educator. The Education Specialist coordinates and implements nursing clinical education programs and clinical competence, plans and executes training, and collaborates with the education team and facility leadership on hospital-wide initiatives.

Required BSN with an OK RN license, BLS within 14 days of hire, and ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• BSN required and unrestricted RN license in Oklahoma.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement Nursing Clinical Education Programs and Clinical Competence.

Responsibilities:

The Education Specialistis responsible for the Coordination andImplementationof Nursing Clinical Education Programsand Clinical Competence.This responsibility includesthe planning, organization and execution of education/training programs as identified through needs assessment, quality improvement, and implementation of new products and technology.The individual assists in the effective operation through teamwork, customer service/satisfaction, quality assurance, adherence to legal and financial regulations, providing feedback and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and proceduresas they apply to areas of responsibility.This individual works collaboratively withother members ofthe education teamand facility leadershipon global hospital education initiatives as directed.
