Job summary

The Chattanooga Heart Institute, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks an experienced Clinical Educator RN to lead nursing education across cardiac settings. You will design, implement, and evaluate education programs, mentor frontline staff, and promote best practices to sustain clinical excellence.

Ideal candidates will have RN licensure, 2–5 years of cardiac experience, CPR certification, and strong teaching and communication skills to champion professional development and superior patient

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RN program.
• 2-5 years of cardiac experience, upon hire.
• Registered Nurse license in TN, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Onboard all Clinical Staff at all locations.
• Maintain, monitor and schedule BLS for staff.
• Coordinate and schedule clinical education in services at all locations.
• Perform 90-day and annual skills competency check-offs.
• Perform and report chart audits (clinical tasks, patient intake, med refills, nurse messages, nurse notes, PAQ timeliness).
• Develop training manuals for EMR.
