Job summary

UT Health Tyler is seeking a day shift, full-time Clinical Educator CVICU RN in Tyler, TX to lead nursing education and promote high standards of patient care.

The role requires BSN, Texas RN license, and BLS within 14 days of hire; MSN preferred with 5+ years acute care and 2+ years teaching/management experience.

The Clinical EducatorRNcarries out a plan of educational activities to enhance, promote, and maintain the standard of care within the hospital.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – BSN required
• Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in nursing
• Minimum of two years of management/teaching experience
• Familiarity with the organization and functions of other disciplines within the hospital
• Minimum of five years of Acute Care clinical experience
