Brown Medicine seeks a full-time clinician educator in nephrology to join the Division of Hypertension and Kidney Diseases. The role includes inpatient rounding, teaching renal fellows, residents, and medical students, and contributing to clinical research.

Ideal candidates have board eligibility or certification in nephrology and experience with kidney biopsies and point-of-care ultrasound. This position partners with Alpert Medical School of Brown University for teaching opportunities.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible nephrologist with academic interest.
• Experience in clinical research and teaching is preferred.
• Experience in native and transplant kidney biopsies is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Rounded on inpatient services and mentored fellows, residents, and students.
• Led and taught in renal pathophysiology coursework as lecturer and group leader.
• Engaged in scholarly activities in medical education and research.
• Collaborated with Brown Medicine faculty in a multi-disciplinary setting.
