Ardent Health Services in Tyler, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Clinical Educator for Medical/Surgical ICU nursing. You will plan and deliver educational activities to elevate patient care and ensure practice standards.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN, an active Texas RN license, and BLS certification (within 14 days). A Master’s degree is preferred; you will mentor staff, partner with ICU teams, and support ongoing professional development within a supportive, patient-first culture.

• UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities

The Clinical EducatorRNcarries out a plan of educational activities to enhance, promote, and maintain the standard of care within the hospital.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – BSN required
• Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in nursing
• Minimum of two years of management/teaching experience
• Familiarity with the organization and functions of other disciplines within the hospital
• Minimum of five years of Acute Care clinical experience
