The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 3 years of acute care experience, including a year in clinical education. The position offers housing and travel expense coverage.

Qualifications

• 3 years of acute care nursing practice such as ICU, PCU, ER, or PACU/post-op recovery.
• Minimum 1 year experience in clinical education and staff professional development.
• RN License in any state.

Job description

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Clinical Educator at a 70+ bed hospital in AZ.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Staff onboarding & orientation
• Competency management
• Department specific educational training
• AHA life safety compliance management
• Implementation of evidence-based practice (EBP) & research
• Other educational support duties and requests

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
• Experience: 3 years of acute care nursing practice such as ICU, PCU, ER, or PACU/post‑op recovery; Minimum 1 year experience in clinical education and staff professional development within the past 2 years
• License: RN License any state
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS instructor certification from America Heart Association, ANCC NPD preferred
• Computer Skills: EMR experience and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.)
