Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Dallas, TX is seeking a Clinical RN Educator to provide education services for clinical and patient care areas, bridging practice and education to support hospital objectives. The role emphasizes staff development, policy implementation, and ongoing professional growth.

The position requires an active RN license, BLS certification, at least 5 years of acute care experience, and 2 years of educational experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid RN license issued by the state.
• BLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 5 years acute care experience.
• Minimum of 2 years previous educational experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver orientation programs for new clinical staff and provide ongoing training, in-services, and continuing education on clinical skills, protocols, equipment, and patient care standards.
• Serve as a clinical resource to staff during patient care, mentor and coach clinical staff in skill development, critical thinking, and decision-making.
• Help implement new clinical guidelines, hospital policies, and evidence-based practices while monitoring compliance and providing remediation or education as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement and patient safety projects, analyze performance data, and help develop action plans for improvement.
• Encourage certifications, advanced degrees, and career growth and keep staff informed about changes in healthcare regulations and trends.
