Job summary

Quinnipiac University’s School of Nursing seeks a Clinical Placement Coordinator to organize and support high-quality clinical learning experiences for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral nursing students. You will plan placements, partner with clinical sites, and ensure requirements and accreditation standards are met, acting as a key liaison between the School of Nursing and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of healthcare administration or education setting experience.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing planning of clinical learning experiences for nursing programs.
• Coordinate and evaluate clinical placements for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Collaborate with clinical sites to secure quality placements and preceptors.
• Maintain relationships with clinical partners and communicate requirements to faculty and students.
• Maintain electronic databases for site contacts, faculty, and student evaluations.
• Assist with site visits and affiliations, and support new clinical learning opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in School of Nursing meetings and committees as requested.
• Represent the School of Nursing in interactions with external partners.
