Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to address learning needs of staff and the community. You will identify training gaps and develop programs for clinical orientation, policies, PBDS rating, and ongoing staff development.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree with Alabama licensure, a minimum of four years of clinical experience, and certifications such as NIHSS/TNCC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Nursing; Alabama licensure required.
• Advanced nursing education/certification a plus.
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications required.
• Minimum four years clinical experience; management/instructor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and facilitate staff and community learning needs.
• Develop, monitor, and teach clinical orientation, policies and procedures, PBDS rating, and other training opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure quality training.
