Responsibilities

• Acquire patient data from imaging devices (CT, MRI, PET) and fuse with planning CT data.
• Interpret criteria and develop treatment plans based on protocols.
• Contour critical structures with accuracy using 3D CT anatomy knowledge.
• Design radiation treatment plans to target tumors while sparing normal tissue.
• Perform second check calculations to verify dose accuracy.
• Generate QA plans and transfer documentation to planning and delivery units.
• Utilize knowledge of isotopes and brachytherapy implants to design brachytherapy plans.
• Contribute to additional duties as assigned.
